The Boiler Upgrade Scheme is a government initiative designed to help UK households reduce their energy bills whilst supporting the decarbonisation of heating. £450 million of grant funding has been allocated between 2022 and 2028.
The scheme now provides vouchers of up to £7,500 to help homeowners install air and ground” source heat pumps. Eligibility for the Boiler Upgrade Scheme is limited to those who meet certain criteria.
To be eligible, households must:

- Own their own home

- Have a valid EPC
To get started, homeowners must first contact an MCS accredited installer who will be able to assess your current heating system and recommendations for an alternative.
